These Terms of Service govern your use of cottagecabinets.co.uk (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, we'll send you an order confirmation email. This confirms we've received your order — it doesn't mean we've accepted it. A contract is only formed once we send you a dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where an item is out of stock or listed at an incorrect price, in which case we'll notify you and issue a full refund.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal, processed securely through Shopify's checkout. We do not store your full card details. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but errors can occasionally occur — if we discover a pricing error on your order, we'll contact you before proceeding.

4. Delivery

Delivery costs, areas and timeframes are set out in full in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Full details, including return costs and how refunds are processed, are set out in our Refund Policy.

6. Product descriptions and images

We make every effort to display our products, including colours and finishes, as accurately as possible. However, actual colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, and natural materials such as wood may show minor variation in grain and tone between pieces.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos and images — is owned by or licensed to Cottage Cabinets and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute or use our content without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to this, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
